
Rain Washes Altoona and Reading on Tuesday

READING, Pa. - The Altoona Curve and Reading Fightin Phils were postponed due to rain on Tuesday night at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading. The game will be made up as a doubleheader on Wednesday, with game one beginning at 4:45 p.m.
The Curve (25-26) split their series last week with Bowie and are currently in fourth place in the Southwest Division of the Eastern League. Reading (21-30) is in fifth place in the Northeast Division. The two teams have not met since the 2019 season, where the Curve went 1-5 against the Fightin Phils. Altoona is 5-5 in its last ten games.
Altoona will open its series with Reading on Wednesday night. The starters both teams are yet to be announced.
