Garcia Homers in 7-1 Loss to Bowie

The Senators scored first Tuesday night, on a Wilson Garcia solo home run, but Bowie scored six unanswered runs to beat Harrisburg 6-1 at FNB Field. Bowie plated two in the fifth, then broke the game open with four runs in the seventh inning with three coming on a three-run home run by Andrew Daschbach.

Steven Fuentes started and tossed six strong innings, allowing just two runs on seven hits giving him a quality start. He left with the Senators down 2-1. Brian Gonzalez followed Fuentes, facing three batters and didn't retire any of them. Francys Peguero came on and went two innings, giving up the three-run home run to Daschbach. Dakody Clemmer pitched a scoreless ninth inning.

Harrisburg managed just five hits in the game. Jack Dunn and Jackson Cluff both doubled to go with the home run by Garcia.

Tuesday was the first of a 13 game homestand for the Senators. After the seven-game series this week, the Senators host the Richmond Flying Squirrels next week. The Senators defense turned three double plays in the first six innings.
