
Rain Postpones River Bandits, LumberKings on Monday

DAVENPORT, Iowa (July 6, 2015) - Rain postponed Monday's game between the Quad Cities River Bandits and Clinton LumberKings at Modern Woodmen Park. The game is scheduled to be made up with a doubleheader at 6 p.m. Tuesday, with gates opening at 5 p.m. Individual tickets for Monday's game may be exchanged at the Modern Woodmen Park box office for any remaining 2015 home game.
The River Bandits (7-4 second half, 52-27 overall) will host Clinton (3-8, 29-51) for a pair of seven-inning games Tuesday. In Game 1, River Bandits right-hander David Paulino (0-1) is scheduled to face LumberKings right-hander Tyler Herb (4-4). In Game 2, River Bandits right-hander Justin Ferrell (1-1) is scheduled to face LumberKings left-hander Jarrett Brown (1-3).
Monday marked the fifth postponement this season for the River Bandits (in addition to one cancellation and one game called in a tie through six innings) and the fifth of the season for the LumberKings (also in addition to one cancellation). Quad Cities has played four home doubleheaders - splitting ones against Burlington, Lansing and Great Lakes, and being swept by Peoria. Clinton has swept its two home doubleheaders against Beloit and Burlington and been swept in two road doubleheaders at Beloit and Fort Wayne.
UP NEXT: Gates open at 5 p.m. Tuesday for the 6 p.m. doubleheader. The first 1,000 fans receive free River Bandits caps, courtesy of Modern Woodmen of America, which also presents Half-Price Night.
