
Rain Halts Play in Third, Saints and Goldeyes to Play Two on Sunday

WINNIPEG, MB - The St. Paul Saints and Winnipeg Goldeyes were able to start Saturday night's game at Shaw Park under ominous skies, but couldn't finish. With the Goldeyes leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third rain halted play and after a delay of more than two hours play was suspended. The two teams will pick up the game at 1:30 p.m. in the bottom of the third with the Goldeyes batting and two outs, Tyler Kuhn at second and Ray Sadler at the plate with a 3-1 count. The game is scheduled for nine innings. The regularly scheduled game will follow approximately 25-30 minutes at the conclusion of the continued game and will be scheduled for seven innings. The scheduled starters in the regularly scheduled game are RHP Anthony Claggett (3-1, 1.45) for the Saints and LHP Chris Salamida (2-2, 5.09) for the Goldeyes. Both games can be heard on Club 1220 KLBB.
