RailHawks Host Miami FC on Wednesday

Cary, N.C. - The Carolina RailHawks are all set to host Miami FC on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Tickets ($10, $15 and $20, +$2 day of game) are available at the LGFCU Box Office by calling 919-859-5425 or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com. Fans are encouraged to come out early as gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for Taste of the Triangle.

"It's nice for us to be playing at home again. Miami has made some coaching and player changes since we last played them. It will definitely be a lively game and exciting for the fans to watch"

This is the second of only two meetings between these two teams this season. In the last meeting, the RailHawks drew Miami 1-1 with a late goal by midfielder Josh Gardner at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale. Miami forward Paulo Araujo jr. leads the team in goals scored with seven. Two former RailHawks will return to WakeMed Soccer Park on Wednesday. Goalkeeper Caleb Patterson who has started all but one game for Miami and recently acquired Martin Nunez who scored a goal in their last match against Tampa on Saturday

The RailHawks are looking to bounce back from their 2-1 loss in Baltimore last Saturday. Matt Watson scored the lone goal for the RailHawks and is likely to start the match on Wednesday.

Looking ahead, the RailHawks embark on a two-game road trip that will take them to Austin on August 21 and Tampa on August 25. They return home on August 28th for the first of two home games against the Puerto Rico Islanders.
