RailCats to Host Second Postgame Party Sunday at Dusties

GARY, Ind. - The Gary SouthShore RailCats will begin their fifth straight Northern League Playoff run next Wednesday night, and before the post-season gets started ‘Cats fans can join Public Address Announcer Tommy Williams and select players and coaches at the team's second Postgame Party at Dusties Buffet after Sunday afternoon's 2 p.m. game.

The RailCats Postgame Party will be carried live on 89.1 FM, The Lakeshore, immediately following that night's penultimate game of the regular season against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and run for at least an hour. Williams, an experienced radio veteran, will be joined by RailCats players, coaches, front office staff and more as they talk about the chances of another RailCats Championship run. Two weeks ago, special guests at Dusties included Manager Greg Tagert, Owners Pat and Lindy Salvi, President/General Manger Roger Wexelberg, pitcher Derell McCall and infielders Eric McNamee and Jeff Beachum.

As a special incentive, any fans stopping by Dusties after the game will get $2 off the price of their delicious southern-style buffet dinner and get the chance to eat and drink right alongside their favorite RailCats in a private room. Dusties Buffet, located right across the street from U. S. Steel Yard at 411 E. 5th Avenue in Gary, is the spot for RailCats fans before and after every game and can be reached at 219.886.2100.

The first-place RailCats have just five games remaining in the 2009 regular season, starting tonight at 7 p.m. against the Schaumburg Flyers. The ‘Cats will close out the home slate with four games this weekend against the second-place RedHawks, and every game will be packed full of promotions.
