RailCats and Saltdogs Suspended Until Sunday

GARY, IN- The Gary South Shore RailCats needed some of those high water pants that Michael Jackson made famous in the 80's videos plus a boat and anchor and life jackets as the RailCats and Lincoln were postponed Saturday night at US Steel Yard. With the team wearing Michael Jackson jerseys the rains came in the second and the game was halted in the third. The game was scoreless at the time and after about an half hour the park looked more like a water park than a baseball park.
The game will pick up in the third on Sunday at 2:10pm with gates opening at 1:00pm and the teams will play game two a seven inning contest after the first game to wrap up the three game series. Game one the RailCats are expected to have rookie Travis McGee take over for the RailCats while game two starter will be RHP Morgan Coombs (3-2, 3.61). Lincoln had not announced their pitcher for game one but expect to send out RHP Joe Bisenius (1-2, 4.31) in game two.
