
Raiders to Honour Morley Jaeger

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders and Rawlco Radio are pleased to announce that as part of the Wall of Honour ceremony Saturday, November 15th, the north side radio play by play booth will be named The Morley Jaeger Broadcast Booth.
Morley Jaeger was the original voice of the Prince Albert Raiders on 900 CKBI, broadcasting Raider games for 16 seasons from 1972 to 1988. Jaeger broadcast a total of 1,274 Raider hockey games including all five of their championships - the Centennial Cups of 1977, 79, 81 and 82 and the Memorial Cup of 1985.
Jaeger, known for his colourful commentary and descriptive phrases, still lives in Prince Albert and is expected to be in attendance for the unveiling of a new sign on the broadcast booth.
To be inducted onto the Raider Wall of Honour that night are long time coach Terry Simpson (Builder) and players Theran Welsh and Emanuel Viveiros. The Raiders take on the Regina Pats November 15th.
