Prince Albert Raiders News Release


Prince Albert, Saskatchewan- This week the Prince Albert Raiders have a very important road trip into the Central Division of the Western Hockey League where they will play three games this week. In Eastern Conference standings, the Raiders are currently one point behind the Edmonton Oil Kings who they visit Wednesday and four back of the Lethbridge Hurricanes whom they visit Saturday. The Raiders also play in Red Deer against the Central Division leading Rebels Friday.

Monday, November 29

Practice 1:00 - 3:15 PM Art Hauser Centre

Drew Wilson, Voice of the Raiders is joined by Kalen Kovitch as co-host for the weekly phone in show, featuring Raider General Manager and Head Coach Bruno Campese. Fans can call 764-2524 or email faceoff@rawlco.com with any questions or comments about the team.

Tuesday, November 30

SGI Project Forward Presentation at Red Wing School - 9:30 PM

Ryan Button, Brandon Herrod, James Bettauer and Austin Connor will visit Grade 6 and Grade 7 students. Button and Herrod will relate their experiences from what they saw in one of Canada's most notorious drug areas during the teams' visit to Vancouver in October. Project Forward was sponsored by the RCMP.

Roster Update

The Raiders have re assigned 18 year-old right winger Tyler Paslawski to the Nipawin Hawks of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The move leaves the Raiders with 23 players on their roster: 2 goaltenders, 9 defencemen and 12 forwards.
