
Raiders Add Nagy from Victoria

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders are pleased to announce the acquisition of 1997-born winger Regan Nagy from the Victoria Royals.
In return, the Raiders have sent the rights to Hunter Strand, a sixth and a 10th-round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft and a third-round pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
Nagy, who hails from Ogema, SK, was a second round pick of the Royals in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft. Since then, the 6'0, 195-lb winger has played in 253 career WHL games, scoring 50 goals and adding 47 assists. He also has five goals and 11 assists in 29 career playoff games.
This season, Nagy has scored 18 goals and added six assists in 26 games played.
Strand was a sixth-round pick of the Raiders in last May's draft out of Anchorage, AK.
The Raiders are back at the Art Hauser Centre on Friday night for the Sock Hop against the Kootenay ICE. Fans are asked to bring new pairs of socks to throw on the ice during the second intermission.
