Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - After their first multi-home run game of the year propelled them to an 8-1 win, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are fishing for a two-game sweep of Kenosha tonight at Simmons Field. Last night, the Rafter scored eight times on eleven hits. Brody Wofford (UCF) and Jack-Thomas Wold (UNLV) led the way at the plate. Both lefty bats went yard to right field last night in the win.

The Rafters look to win their thirteenth in a row over the Kingfish and a take 2-0 advantage in the season series. Ryan Byrd (1-0, 1.80 ERA) will start for Wisconsin Rapids. Last time out, Byrd got the no decision in a 9-4 win at Witter Field over the Battle Creek Bombers on June 7th. The lefty threw four innings and struck out two. The Kingfish will send to the mound, Denson Hull (1-0, 1.58 ERA). The senior out of Creighton is making his fourth start for Kenosha tonight. In his last start on June 8th against the Woodchucks at Athletic Park, Hull earned the win by tossing seven innings of one-run ball, scattering four hits and fanning four.

First pitch from Simmons Field is slated for 6:35 p.m.
