Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - Last night's shut out win against the Lakeshore Chinooks propels the Rafters into away series against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. The cranberry and gold advance to 12-9 on the season with the win last night. The 13-0 win is the biggest shutout win in team history besting a 12-0 shutout of Kenosha on July 22nd of last year.

Tonight, the Rafters will face off against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders who are currently 13-8 this season ranking them third in the South Division Standings. The Rafters are one game back from the Dock Spiders, and are currently ranked fourth.

Ty Duvall (Vanderbilt) had a stellar performance last night in his Witter Field debut. He went 4-5 with one double, 5 RBI and 3 runs scored. Duvall's five RBI performance is the first for the Rafters since last season when Jake Guenther collected five against Rockford on July 16th, 2017.

Taking the bump for the Rafters is Jake Cook (Birmingham Southern). This will be Cook's fourth start for the Rafters. He currently has a 1-2 record with a 6.75 ERA and has struck out 11 batters.

Pitching for the Dock Spiders is Jon Young. The righty is 1-1 with a 0.00 ERA in four appearances including three starts. This will be the second time Young has faced the Rafters this season. Young made the start on June 9th at Witter Field for Fond du Lac. The sophomore earned the win by tossing seven scoreless innings with five strikeouts.

The first pitch is slated for 6:35p.m. from Herr-Baker Field at Marian University.
