Radio Recon's Ready to Hear About a Real NCAA Championship--or Maybe Two of Them
April 6, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release
Sinking Spring, PA - The Reading Royals cordially invite you to join us tomorrow night (Tuesday, April 7, 2015) from 6 - 7 pm at Jimmy G's Railroad House Sports Bar and Restaurant (152 Woodrow Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA; 610-678-1177) for Radio Recon, the Royals' weekly coach's show.
Well, another March Madness is finally behind us-even if it did take until the first week of April to get it done. So, let's all take a moment to collectively tear up our brackets and turn our attention to some real playoffs. In all fairness, there's no question that winning an NCAA championship-in any sport-is a nerve-wracking one-and-done grind where you put everything on the line in each and every game. Very few athletes know that as well Royals' forward Pat Mullane, who went through that grind in all four of his years at Boston College and came out holding the hardware...twice. We'll talk with Patty tomorrow, and see whether he's ready for a post-season grind of another type-as, in the best-of-seven variety. We'll also have a member of the Royals' coaching staff, who'll explain to us how to he plans to channel his inner Mike Krzyzewski-or, at least help us learn to pronounce the guy's name properly...
As always, we welcome any and all comments and questions from the fans at Radio Recon. We might also come up with a little crazy trivia and giveaways for those who participate in the show. Royals Radio Recon will be broadcast live on the Royals Broadcast Network (CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm in Reading).
