
Radcliff's Big Day Leads Claws to 4-1 Wednesday Win

GREENSBORO, NJ - Baron Radcliff homered and drove in three runs as the BlueClaws topped Greensboro 4-1 on Wednesday afternoon at NewBridge Bank Ballpark.
Jersey Shore (39-65) has now won four of their last five games and taken the first two games of the series from Greensboro (44-58).
Jared Carr opened the scoring with a SAC fly in the top of the third inning.
Radcliff took care of the rest. The slugger from Georgia Tech clubbed his ninth home run of the season in the fifth inning to put the BlueClaws up 3-0. He added an RBI triple for a 4-1 lead in the top of the ninth inning.
The lone Greensboro run came on a home run in the seventh inning by Abrahan Gutierrez, who played for the BlueClaws in 2019.
Meanwhile, starter Rafael Marcano (1-3) earned his first High-A win, allowing two hits and no runs over five innings. Albertus Barber gave up one run in two innings of relief. Brett Schulze threw a scoreless eighth and Jonathan Hughes threw a scoreless ninth for his sixth save of the season.
Nicolas Torres also had two hits for the BlueClaws.
The teams continue their series on Thursday night at 6:30 pm. RHP Kyle Glogoski starts for Jersey Shore.
