R-Phils Patience at the Plate Not Enough in Loss to Sea Dogs

The R-Phils lost Friday night's contest against the Sea Dogs 4-1, as they were unable to mount a comeback despite seven walks and a hit by pitch offensively.

Josh Hendrickson(L, 3-1) went six strong in his start, allowing four earned while striking out five.

Madison Stokes had a stellar game at the dish, reaching first in three of his four at bats with a single and two walks, while he also came around to score the only run of the game for Reading.

Zach Warren was the first in relief for the Fightins, as he was excellent in his two innings of work. Warren kept the Sea Dogs offense at bay, as he cruised after allowing back-to-back walks to begin his outing with no hits and three strikeouts.

Tyler Carr then came in for the top of the ninth, as he only allowed one single in his scoreless appearance.
