BRIDGEPORT, CT - Quinton Rose of the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, scored 31 points, a new career-high, but the Delaware Blue Coats proved too much topping the Knicks, 122-113, Friday evening at Total Mortgage Arena.

Rose's (returning rights) 31 points came on 9-18 shooting, 4-8 from three-point territory. He matched his career-high nine rebounds and posted four steals, two rejections and went 4-4 from the stripe. DaQuan Jeffries (Two-Way) put up 17 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Dmytro Skapintsev (tryout) scored 13 points (5-6 FG) in his start to go along with nine rebounds. Nuni Omot (affiliate) registered 13 points, seven boards and three assists. Jalen Johnson (tryout) recorded 12 points (5-7 FG), made two threes, and hauled five boards.

For Delaware (6-10) Saben Lee and Jared Springer each had 24 points. Lee also had six assists. Julian Champagnie had 21 points, five rebounds and three assists. Michael Foster Jr. contributed 19 points and eight boards.

The scored was deadlocked at 27 points after the first quarter. Delaware opened a lead as large as 15 points, outscoring the Knicks (6-10) in the second, 40-28, and led at halftime, 67-55. Rose led all scorers at the break with 17 points.

Delaware continued rolling in the third quarter and in the early goings of the fourth. At the 9:32 mark of the fourth, Westchester got within nine and a quick 8-3 spurt brought the Knicks in a four-point striking distance, 105-101 with 7:04 remaining. That would mark the closest the Knicks would get within Delaware for the rest of the game.

Next, the Knicks head to Las Vegas for the 2022 NBA G League Winter Showcase. Westchester's two-game slate to wrap up the Showcase Cup will be announced later.
