Gold to Host Star Wars Night at Van Andel Arena on Sunday 1/8

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, will host a Star Wars Night on Sunday, January 8th at 3pm EST. The team will take on the Maine Celtics whose roster features Denzel Valentine, a former Michigan State University basketball player.
All fans who show up to the game wearing a Star Wars costume will receive free admission to the game. The first 500 fans will receive a free Gold light up toy. More than 10 Star Wars characters will be at the game to meet and take photos with fans.
Sunday's game will feature a Family Four Pack including four upper-level center seats and a $20 concession voucher for the price of $50 presented by Meijer. Individual tickets start as low as $10 plus fees.
Fans can bid on game-worn, themed jerseys here starting now and ending at 11:59pm EST on Tuesday, January 10. All benefits will be donated to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
