Quebec Beats Bangor
June 16, 2004 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
Quebec Les Capitales News Release
In a game that starkly contrasted yesterday's 17-1 woodshed beating, les Capitales scored only as many runs as necessary in their 4-3 triumph over Bangor. Danny Prata pitched a good game for the Quebecois, allowing two earned on four hits over seven innings to get the win. Quebec's Eddie Lantigua drove in two on a double and a sac fly. Alex Santos, signed just hours before the game, got the save by tossing a perfect ninth. Shin Uchino led the Lumberjacks with a double and a homer in four at-bats.
