Quality Travel Offers Travel Packages to Las Vegas for Rivermen Games

Peoria, Ill. (August 2, 2004) – President Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that Quality Travel Ltd. of Peoria is offering travel packages – which include airfare, hotel, game tickets and a post-game reception with the team – as part of the second annual New Year Celebration in Las Vegas with the Rivermen from Thursday, January 6 – Sunday, January 9, 2005.

The packages will provide fans with reserved tickets to two games at the Orleans Arena, as the Rivermen face off against the Las Vegas Wranglers on Friday, January 7 and Saturday, January 8. Fans will travel direct roundtrip on Allegiant Airlines from Peoria to Las Vegas, departing on Thursday, January 6 and returning Sunday, January 9. Four days, three nights accommodations will be provided by the Orleans Hotel & Casino (to which the Orleans Arena is attached), and transportation will be provided to and from the airport. In addition, Rivermen fans will be treated to a Post-Game Reception following one of the team's games in Las Vegas. All fans under 21 who wish to attend this trip must be accompanied by an adult.

A limited number of packages remain at the following rates: 1) Single Occupancy – $625, 2) Double Occupancy – $475 and 3) Triple Occupancy – $425. A $150 non-refundable deposit is required.

The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL – America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Rivermen open their ninth season in the 28-team league on Friday, October 22, 2004, when they host the archrival Dayton Bombers at Carver Arena.
