San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes Community Fund has distributed over 1,000 donated tickets to local underserved youth for Kids Night Out presented by Supercuts and Wells Fargo on Saturday, Aug. 13 when the club hosts the Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m. PT.
Many individuals and companies throughout the Bay Area participated in donating to this year's Kids Night Out by purchasing packages that ranged from $100 to $500. All donations went through the Earthquakes Community Fund and the tickets were distributed to local non-profit organizations.
Thanks to the promotion with Supercuts and Wells Fargo, youth from Bay Area communities will have the opportunity to watch Saturday's match with their families, many of which will attend their first professional soccer match.
The San Jose Earthquakes are committed to serving the Northern California community both on and off the field. The Earthquakes Community Fund was created in 2008 with a goal to raise awareness among local youth about healthy lifestyles and the importance of staying active.
