
Procyshen Placed on DL

The Salem Red Sox have placed C Jordan Procyshen on the disabled list, activated C David Sopilka, transferred LHP Jake Drehoff to Short-A Lowell and received RHP Adam Lau from extended spring training. The following roster changes have been made:
TO DL: C Jordan Procyshen
ACTIVATE: C David Sopilka
DELETE: P Jake Drehoff
ADD: P Adam Lau
Procyshen exited game two of the Red Sox doubleheader Sunday in the fifth inning after hitting a single. Procyshen is hitting .400 for Salem in 3 games played.
Sopilka hit .240 in 35 games with the Low-A Greenville Drive in 2015, and will be active for the first time in 2016.
Drehoff started game two of the Red Sox doubleheader Sunday, lasting 3.1 innings, allowing three runs (two earned), on five hits, striking out four and issuing no walks.
Lau was drafted by the Red Sox in the 37th round of the June 2015 Draft, and went 0-0 with a 4.09 ERA in 11 relief appearances with the GCL Red Sox in 2015. He will be making his 2016 season debut.
The Red Sox roster sits at the Carolina League maximum of 25.
