The Vegas Knight Hawks return for their second game this season at The Dollar Loan Center on March 27 at 1 p.m. PT against the Tucson Sugar Skulls.

NOTES

The Vegas Knight Hawks made their Indoor Football League (IFL) debut last weekend against the Northern Arizona Wranglers. The Knight Hawks win marks the third team in the Foley Entertainment Group to win their debut game.

OPPOSITION UPDATE

This will be the first game of the 2022 season for the Tucson Sugar Skulls. In the 2021 season, Tucson finished in ninth place overall with a 6-8 record. Tucson made their debut in the IFL in the 2019 season and have gone to the playoffs once in the two seasons.

Mike Jones, running back, has been on the team since the inaugural season and is spending his third season with Tucson. Jones is the franchise leading rusher with 1,072 yards during his time here. Last season, he had 27 touchdowns, 22 of those rushing and five receiving.

KNIGHTLY RECAP

Last week was the Knight Hawks inaugural game against the Northern Arizona Wranglers at The Dollar Loan Center. Vegas won the game, 22-9, putting them at a 1-0 record to start their debut season. Nathan Criswell scored the first point in franchise history with a field goal, giving the first lead of the night to Vegas. In the second quarter, KD Cannon scored the first touchdown of the game after a seven-yard pass from QB Jaylon Henderson. Criswell followed up two minutes later with another field goal, ending the first half of the game 12-3 for Vegas. The next two points came from Criswell off of field goals, where the game then ended 22-9.
