
Knight Hawks Come up Short against Tucson

The Vegas Knight Hawks were defeated by the Tucson Sugar Skulls, 48-39, at The Dollar Loan Center on March 27.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Jaylon Henderson connected with KD Cannon on the first drive of the game to put the Knight Hawks up early in the first quarter. This was the first of three touchdowns for Cannon in this high scoring contest. The Sugar Skulls answered right back when Daquan Neal ran in a touchdown of his own to level the game. The teams then went back and forth as both consistently lit up the scoreboard for the remainder of the contest. Jaylon Henderson was able to connect with Elad Covaliu for a late score to bring the Knight Hawks within 2. However, Tucson eventually closed the door shut with a late touchdown just under 2 minutes remaining to secure the victory.
Jaylon Henderson finished the game with 18 completions for 189 yards and 6 touchdowns in the loss. He also rushed for 24 yards on the ground.
The Knight Hawks displayed an outstanding offensive effort compared to their more defensive approach in their season opener. Frank Brown finished the game with 8 receptions for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns. KD Cannon finished the game with 5 receptions for 71 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss.
Sugar Skulls quarterback, Daquan Neal, completed 13 passes for 178 yards and 4 touchdowns. He added a rushing touchdown as well. Arthur Jackson finished the game with 7 receptions and 3 touchdowns.
