
Preview: Americans Host Cougars for Game 4

The Americans and Cougars will continue their Round One playoff series tonight at the Toyota Center. Tri-City currently leads 2-1 after an exciting 4-2 victory last night in Kennewick.
Americans Captain Marc Lajoie opened scoring last night. Tri-City has scored the first goal in each game this series. Tyson Greenway, Parker Bell, and Jalen Luypen also scored for the Americans to secure their second victory of the season.
Tomas Suchanek has played in net each game for the Americans. Through three games the Czechia netminder has stopped 107 shots. He has an impressive .930 save percentage so far.
Four Americans players currently have four points in the series: Greenway (3-1-4, Bell (2-2-4), Luypen (2-2-4), and Mechura (1-3-4). Cole Dubinsky has four points (one goal, three assists) for Prince George.
Despite Prince George having the second-best power play in the league through the regular season (27.7%), the Ams have held them scoreless with a man advantage over 8 opportunities in the playoffs. Tri-City also had an excellent regular season power play (27.3%) and is just 1/11 on the power play in Round One. Parker Bell netted the first power play goal of the series last night.
Tri-City will look to build on their series lead. They have an opportunity to win the series on home ice with victories tonight and Friday at the Toyota Center.
