PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC enters its fourth week of preseason action with 15 players under contract and an additional number invited on trial.

The Week Ahead
This week, Riverhounds SC will compete in its final two-match weekend of the preseason, as the squad will first battle the University of Akron at 3 p.m. on Friday before clashing with Lansing Ignite FC at 12 p.m. on Sunday - both matches taking place at Highmark Stadium.
All preseason matches at Highmark Stadium are free to attend for the public.
Akron advanced all the way to the 2018 NCAA College Cup finals, where it lost to the University of Maryland, 1-0. The team also won the Mid-American Conference tournament championship in 2018.
Founded in October 2018, Lansing Ignite FC will have its inaugural season in 2019, competing in USL League One. The club is led by head coach Nate Miller.
Last Week
Last weekend, the Hounds first tied the University of Pittsburgh, 1-1, before defeating Bethlehem Steel FC, 1-0. Riverhounds SC received its scoring from Steevan Dos Santos against the Panthers and Christian Volesky against Steel FC.
