
Loudoun United FC Sign Goalkeeper Colin Miller

Loudoun United FC have acquired goalkeeper Colin Miller for their inaugural season in the USL Championship pending league and federation approval.
"Colin had a fantastic collegiate career at Providence," Richie Williams, Loudoun United FC Head Coach, said. "He showed great promise at the MLS Combine this past January and we are looking forward to having that talent at Loudoun United."
Miller joins Loudoun United FC after attending Providence College for four years (2014-2018). During his time with the Friars in the Big East, Miller recorded 182 saves with a career goals against average of 0.97 in 53 appearances. He recorded 22 clean sheets and had a 0.788 career save percentage.
In Miller's senior year, he made 54 saves and recorded nine shutouts in 19 starts. He was awarded preseason Big East Goalkeeper of the Year, All Big East Second Team and Big East Goalkeeper of the week (10/8). He finished his senior year with a 10-7-2 record and and an invitation to the MLS Combine in January 2018.
Miller grew up in Bel Air, Md., and attended C. Milton Wright High School where he played soccer for four years and earned three varsity letters. During his senior year he led the team to the regional title and was awarded First Team All-State honors in 2013. He spent his club career playing for the Baltimore Bays Chelsea 15/16 Academy Team and the Baltimore Bays Chelsea 17/18 Academy Team.
