
Prefontaine Kicks His Way to Special Teams Player of the Week

(Edmonton) Edmonton Eskimo kicker/punter Noel Prefontaine has earned the Gibson's Finest Special Teams of the Week award for week nine.
Prefontaine's 52 yard and 37 yard field goals helped the Eskimos secure their second win of the season in a 17-14 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The 13 year CFL veteran accumulated 11 of the Eskimos 17 points; three field goals (14 yards, 52 yards, 37 yards), one convert and one single (64 yard punt). This is Prefontaine's second Player of the Week Award. He earned Special Teams Player of the Week accolades in week three when the Eskimos met the 'Riders for the first time in the 2010 season.
The Eskimos head back to Calgary for the 2010 Labour Day Classic. The Esks and Stamps kickoff at 4:00pm MT. Game will be broadcasted live on 630 CHED and TSN.
