WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added import offensive tackle Marlon Winn and import defensive lineman Jeremy Maddox to their practice roster today.

Winn (6-6, 325, Texas Tech, DOB: July 3, 1986 in Enid, Oklahoma) was a three-year starter at Texas Tech and played both right tackle and left tackle. Winn started all 13 games as a senior and anchored an offensive line that won the Alamo Bowl against Michigan State and earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention recognition. As a junior, Winn was part of the best offensive line in all of college football as the unit only allowed 13 sacks all season and protected Johnny Unitas Award Winner Graham Harrell. Winn went undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft but signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Vikings. He was released in June.

Maddox (6-1, 263, Alabama A&M, DOB: November 30, 1987 in Grand Bay, Alabama) was a finalist for the Buchanan Award during his senior season where he made 41 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles. In his sophomore season, Maddox was named First-Team All-SWAC after leading the Southwestern Athletic Conference with nine sacks. Maddox currently sits second in school history behind current Indianapolis Colts star Robert Mathis in sacks and tackles for loss.
