Predators Send Geoffrion to Admirals

Milwaukee, WI-Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned forward Blake Geoffrion to Milwaukee.

The Brentwood, TN native appeared in two of Nashville's first three preseason games, his first NHL games with his hometown team, and will start his rookie professional career in the same state where he won the 2010 Hobey Baker Award and played four seasons with the University of Wisconsin. Following the conclusion of his collegiate career, Geoffrion joined the Admirals on an amateur try-out contract where he recorded a pair of goals in three playoff games.

Geoffrion is expected to be with the Admirals when they hit the ice for training camp on Wednesday, September 29 at 9:00 am at the Kern Center on the campus of MSOE.

The Admirals will kick off the 2010-11 season by hosting the Abbotsford Heat on Saturday, October 9 at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center.
