Canucks Assign 10 to Moose

Manitoba Moose News Release
The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have assigned 10 players to the Manitoba Moose.
Players assigned directly to the Moose include:
Nolan Baumgartner Defence
Mario Bliznak Centre
Kevin Connauton Defence
Evan Oberg Defence
Prab Rai Left Wing
Jordan Schroeder Centre
Chris Tanev Defence
Aaron Volpatti Forward
Sean Zimmerman Defence
Players released by the Canucks from their PTO's and subsequently assigned to the Moose include:
Travis Ramsey Defence
The Moose roster now stands at 41 players.
The Moose will then open their 15th regular season on Friday, Oct. 8th in Peoria against the Rivermen. They will play their first home game on October 15th against the Grand Rapids Griffins at MTS Centre. Gametime is 7:30 p.m. Fans can buy tickets to that game and all other individual Moose games at all Ticketmaster locations or by calling 780-3333 or by going online at www.ticketmaster.ca or www.moosehockey.com. Fans can also still purchase season tickets and mini-packs by calling the Moose offices directly at 987-7825 (PUCK).
