
Admirals Set to Open Training Camp

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals will open training camp tomorrow morning with 29 players on their roster.
Joining the 21 players assigned by the Lightning to Norfolk yesterday will be the following eight players on tryout invites: forwards Shea Guthrie, Alexandre Imbeault and Francis Lemieux; defensemen Craig Cescon, Mitch McColm, Troy Milam, Philippe Paquet and Bob Raymond.
Training camp will open with fifteen forwards, eleven defensemen and two goaltenders. At forward are Blair Jones, Mike Angelidis, Stefano Giliati, Paul Szczechura, Mitch Fadden, Juraj Simek, Shea Guthrie, James Wright, Francis Lemieux, Alexandre Imbeault, Alex Hutchings, Tim Marks, Alex Berry, Mitch Fritz, Niklas Persson and Matt Fornataro. On defense are Philippe Paquet, Kevin Quick, Craig Cescon, Ty Wishart, Mark Barberio, Scott Jackson, Radko Gudas, Bob Raymond, Mitch McColm, Troy Milam and Vladimir Mihalik. At goaltender are Jaroslav Janus and Dustin Tokarski.
Jones, Angelidis, Szczechura, Simek, Fritz and Mihalik are currently on waivers until noon on Tuesday. If they clear, they will join Norfolk's training camp.
Of the players currently in training camp, thirteen played for the Admirals in 2009-10: Quick, Wishart, Jones, Szczechura, Fadden, Simek, Jackson, Marks, Fritz, Fornataro, Mihalik, Janus and Tokarski.
