Game Notes:

Monahan Paying Dividends for 67's

Sean Monahan continues to set the tone for the 67's offence this season after a strong rookie campaign this past season that saw him collect 47 points (20g, 27a) in 65 games. In 18 games this season he has already picked up 33 points (13g, 20a) and is centering a line between two NHL draft picks in Tyler Toffoli and Shane Prince. Monahan has clearly been a fantastic pick up for the 67's, since they selected him 16th overall in the 2010 OHL Entry Draft. Monahan, who hails from Brampton, Ontario and wears #20 for the Barberpoles should be a player that fans keep a close eye on this season.

Graovac & Zanetti Return to the 67's

The 67's got a boost to their lineup this past weekend when Tyler Graovac returned to the 67's after missing six games with an illness. Marc Zanetti returned to the lineup on Monday after missing 8 games due to a fractured foot he suffered in a road contest against Niagara back in October. The two veteran players will be a welcome addition to the 67's lineup.

Brandon Saad Making Noise in Saginaw

Brandon Saad, the sophomore left winger for Saginaw has been averaging over two points per game since he got an extended look in training camp for the Chicago Blackhawks and managed to break camp with the team to start the NHL season. The Gibsonia, PA native has 18 points (9g, 9a) in his first 8 games of the season for Saginaw and is proving that the Blackhawks may have had a real "find" when they selected him with the 43rd overall pick this past summer.
