PrairieThunder Signs Goalie

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Sebastian Dahm, a 22-year-old goaltender, has been assigned to the Bloomington PrairieThunder by the Peoria Rivermen, it was announced Monday.

Dahm has been playing with the Class AA team in Anchorage, Alaska of the ECHL this season. He had a 6-10 record with a 3.20 goals against average and a.901 save percentage.

He began his pro career last season with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL where he played 24 games, posting a 10-11 record with a 2.66 goals against average and a.914 save percentage. Dahm played five games with the Johnstown Chiefs at the end of last season, recording a 3-2 record with a 4.99 goals against mark and a.844 save percentage.

Dahm has played in North America since turning 18, including Ontario Hockey League stints in Belleville, Sarnia, Sudbury and Niagara. He had a 20-6 record in Niagara with a 2.53 goals against average and a.915 save percentage in 2007-08.

To make room on the PrairieThunder roster, Coach Jarrod Skalde announced that goaltender Paulo Colaiacovo was placed on waivers. He had a 6-5-0-1 record in 12 games with a 3.05 goals against average and a.905 save percentage with one shutout.
