Icehawks Players Busy In The Community This Week

PORT HURON, MI - Port Huron Icehawks players will be busy in the community this week as they visit students throughout the Blue Water Area and hold a meet and greet with fans.

Icehawks players will stop by ten centers of the Port Huron Area School District 21st Century After School Program on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Two players will head to each center for a question and answer session and a game of floor hockey.

The appearances will take place Tuesday through Thursday at Kimball Elementary, Lakeport Elementary, Holland Woods Middle School, Garfield Elementary, Cleveland Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Chippewa Middle School, Woodrow Wilson Elementary, Crull Elementary and Central Middle School.

In another school appearance, Jason Selleke and Mike Kinnie will visit students in the YMCA After School Program at Keewhadin Elementary on Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Icehawks fans will also have an opportunity to meet the players this week at the monthly Icehawks Hour at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. The players will take questions from Icehawks broadcaster Dennis Stuckey and fans can participate for a chance to win great prizes. The event takes place monthly at Buffalo Wild Wings at 4355 24th Avenue in Fort Gratiot.

The first place Icehawks return home on Friday for a game with the Dayton Gems at 7:30 p.m. It is Super Hero Night at McMorran Arena and your chance to meet Spiderman and Iron Man. Port Huron will also host the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Sunday at 5 p.m.
