Sugar Land Space Cowboys News Release
In an early 10:35am start in Game 3 of the series, the Skeeters receive a second straight great start by former Astro Scott Elarton and backed him with a season high 18 hits in a 10-2 win. Sugar Land scored in 7 of the 9 innings in the victory. The Skeeters got power from Steve Moss, who became the first Skeeters player with two homeruns this season and both he and Anthony Granato, became the first ever Sugar Land hitter to get five hits in a game.
The story though was Scott Elarton who went seven innings, allowing just two hits to pick up his second win of the season. The Skeeters have now won 10 of the last 11 games and they are now 16-3 overall.
