Potomac Nationals 2016 Game Notes vs. Winston-Salem Dash

After a series win over league leading Salem, the Potomac Nationals (24-20) turn their attention to the Winston-Salem Dash (17-31) for a four game series. The series opens up Friday night at Pfitzner Stadium.

Potomac will send RHP Greg Ross (1-2, 1.50) to the mound for his third start of the season. He has not allowed an earned run in 9.1 innings over his two starts thus far. For the Dash, RHP Matt Cooper (2-3, 3.88) will take the hill. Cooper gave up six earned runs on seven hits over just four innings vs. Potomac on May 16th.

First pitch of the series opener at Pfitzner Stadium is set for 7:05pm in Woodbridge, VA
