Potomac Nationals 2016 Game Notes at Salem Red Sox

June 14, 2016 - Carolina League (CarL1)
Potomac Nationals News Release

After a 7-1 loss Monday night in Salem, the Potomac Nationals (30-32) sit a season high two games under .500 and have lost a season high 10 of the past 11. The P-Nats look to level the series this evening vs. the Salem Red Sox (41-23), who clinched the 1st half Southern Division title last night.

For Potomac, LHP Matthew Crownover (0-2, 7.36) takes the hill in his third Potomac start. Crownover has given up two home runs in each of his first to starts for the P-Nats, both losses. RHP Travis Lakins (5-2, 5.77) will start for Salem. Lakins allowed just one run over six innings in Salem's lone victory at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge this season.

First pitch at LewisGale Field is set for 7:05pm in Salem, VA.
