February 2, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, Texas – The Minnesota Wild and the Houston Aeros have announced that the Aeros will play the Grand Rapids Griffins at the Xcel Energy Center, the Saint Paul, Minn., home of the Wild, on Monday, March 7 at 7 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Houston's Toyota Center on January 22, but the game had to be postponed because the Griffins didn't make it to Houston in time for the game. This will mark the Aeros' second ever game at Xcel Energy Center. They lost 2-1 to the Milwaukee Admirals on December 8, 2002.

Aeros season ticketholders will receive a credit towards either another 2004-05 regular-season game, or a playoff package. Houston Aeros season ticket holders are guaranteed a seat at Xcel Energy Center for the March 7 game if they choose to attend. Any individual who had a ticket for the January 22 game can exchange it for a ticket to the March 7 game in St. Paul, or any remaining 2004-05 regular-season home game at Toyota Center. Please call the Aeros office at 713.974.PUCK for more information.

The Wild and Aeros are combining forces to offer special discounted travel packages which will be announced in the coming days.

Minnesota Wild season ticket holders will be offered complimentary tickets to the game. The Wild will contact season ticket holders later this week with details on how to receive their complimentary tickets to the game.

Individual tickets for the contest will be sold for $10 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office (175 West Kellogg Boulevard) and at all Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster) locations including Marshall Field's, or charge by calling Ticketmaster at (651) 989-5151.
