Postma Named to AHL First All-Star Team

The American Hockey League announced today that St. John's IceCaps defenceman Paul Postma has been named as a First-Team All-Star, as voted by AHL coaches, players and media in each of the league's 30 member cities.

Postma has tallied 13 goals and 31 assists for 44 points in 55 games with the Atlantic Division champion IceCaps this season, one point shy of his career high, in 14 fewer contests. The 23-year-old native of Red Deer, Alberta had a 10-game scoring streak in December and made his second consecutive AHL All-Star Classic appearance in January.

Postma has also skated in three games with the parent Winnipeg Jets this season.
