IceCaps Re-Assign Carrozzi to Ontario

The St. John's IceCaps today announced they have re-assigned goaltender Chris Carrozzi to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.

Carozzi, 22, played in two games with the IceCaps since his recall on Mar. 27/12. He recorded a 1-1-0 record, 3.50 goals against average and 0.877 save percentage. He will return to Ontario where he has played in 29 games this season earning a 17-6-4 record, 2.27 goals against average and 0.922 save percentage.

He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the sixth round, 154th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
