THE RESULT:

Dropped the Dynamo to 8-7-3 overall on the year and 1-7-0 away from home.

Gave Houston a 0-1-0 record against FC Cincinnati.

Dropped Houston's record against Eastern Conference foes to 4-2-0 on the year.

TEAM NOTES:

The Dynamo received an own goal by their opponent for the third time this season. That tied the club record for own goals received in a season, matching the total from the 2008 season.

Houston scored two goals in the second half of tonight's game. It was the fourth game this season in which the Dynamo scored two or more goals after halftime. Houston has now scored 17 of their 28 goals this year in the second half.

The Dynamo have now scored two or more goals in nine of their 18 games this season.

Houston had the better of possession in the game, holding the ball for 51.5 percent of the contest. It was the eighth time this year that they had more of the ball than their opponent, and they are now 4-2-2 in those games.

Cincinnati scored the first goal of the game when FW Kekuta Manneh found the back of the net in the 29th minute. It was the 10th time this season that the Dynamo conceded the opening goal, and they are now 2-6-2 in those games.

Cincinnati led 2-0 at halftime. It was the eighth time this year that Houston trailed going into the locker room, and they are now 1-6-1 in those games.

Cincinnati outshot Houston 13-11. It was the eighth time this year that the Dynamo were outshot by their opponent, and they are now 2-5-1 in those games.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES:

FW Romell Quioto tied FW Erick Torres (14) for 10th on the club's scoring all-time scoring list when he scored in the 79th minute.

Quioto scored on a penalty kick. It was his first penalty attempt in league play with the Dynamo.

Quioto made his 66th league appearance and his 13th of the season when he came on for MF Juan David Cabezas to start the second half.

MF Juan David Cabezas made his fourth consecutive appearance and his 10th of the season. It was his third start of the season in league play.

MF Darwin Cerén made his seventh appearance of the season when he came on for MF Matías Vera in the 66th minute.

DF A.J. DeLaGarza made his 16th start of the season and his 50th start with the Dynamo since coming to Houston in 2017.

FW Alberth Elis made his 13th start of the season for Houston. It was his 70th league appearance and his 58th start in league play with Houston.

MF Boniek García made his 16th start of the season and earned his 186th appearance in league play.

García wore the captain's armband for the 14th time this year in league play and 15th time overall.

The Dynamo are now 8-4-3 across all competitions when Garcia wears the armband.

DF Kevin Garcia made his 10th appearance in all competitions for Houston this season and seventh appearance in league play.

DF Adam Lundkvist earned his 14th start of the year and made his 31st league appearance for the Dynamo.

FW Mauro Manotas made his 15th start of the season.

MF Tommy McNamara remains the only player to appear in every match this season for the Dynamo this year. McNamara has appeared in 17 games for Houston this season in league play, four in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League and two in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

FW Michael Salazar made his fifth consecutive appearance for the Dynamo when he came on for FW Mauro Manotas in the 76th minute. It was his 39th career appearance in the league overall.

DF Kiki Struna made his 15th start with the Dynamo this season. The Dynamo are now 8-5-2 record when Struna is in the starting lineup.

MF Matías Vera made his 16th start of the season for the Dynamo. He has started in 21 of 24 matches for the club across all competitions this year.

GK Joe Willis started his 101st career game in goal this evening. It was his 104th career appearance in MLS regular-season play.
