LOS ANGELES - A statement can be found below from LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese on former LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos joining Liga MX side Club América:
"We worked closely with Giovani to find a new club that will be a good destination for him both on and off the field. We thank Giovani for his contributions to the LA Galaxy and we wish him the best of luck with Club América."
The LA Galaxy return to MLS action when they host the San Jose Earthquakes at Dignity Health Sports Park on Friday, July 12 (8 p.m. PT; Univision).
