THAT'S GAME : The Red Wings posted their first walk-off win since the 2nd game of an August 15, 2011 doubleheader vs. Columbus...Ray Chang's RBI single scored Rene Rivera in the 7th for Rochester's 4-3 win that night.

THAT'S HOW WE DO IT : Matt Carson's 13th-inning single was the difference in the game...Carson l eads the team with 54 hits, 19 extra-base hits, 15 doubles, 18 RBI, 79 total bases, and 24 runs scored.

AFTER THE FACT : The Red Wings improved to 2-2 in extra-inning games.

THE DISTANCE : The 13-inning game is the longest for the Red Wings since an 18-inning affair May 19, 2011 vs. Louisville....the Wings won 7-6 in 5 hours and 5 minutes that night...Ray Chang's RBI single won it for the Wings.

REVVED UP : The Red Wings have won 4 of their last 5, 5 of their last 7, and 7 of their last 10...the Wings are 13-10 in their last 23 games beginning May 15.

MAKING MOVES : Righthander Cole DeVries was optioned from Minnesota to Rochester; righthander Samuel Deduno and outfielder Brian Dinkelman were reinstated from 7-Day Disabled List; righthander Anthony Slama was placed on 7-Day DL; and righthander Steve Hirschfeld was transferred to Double-A New Britain.

Norfolk Tides (27-35)

GETTING MIGGY WITH IT : Miguel Tejada has hit .319 (22-for-69) in 19 games since joining Norfolk on May 20, and he's struck out just 7 times in 78 plate appearances.

TAKING NAMES : J.C. Romero has not allowed a run in his 10 appearances... he's given up just 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 8 in 8.0 innings.

I WANNA GO HOME! : The Tides are 0-10 in one-run games on the road.

IT'S ALL GOOD : The Tides have not committed an error in 7 games in June.
