
Ports Claim Number Two Playoff Seed

STOCKTON, Calif.- With a 73-66 overall record, the Ports will have home field advantage in the first round of playoffs as they hold the number two seed in the Northern Division.
This is the second consecutive year that Stockton will be represented in postseason competition.
The Ports will start playoffs on the road, visiting the number three seed San Jose Giants on Wednesday, September 9th. Stockton will host the remainder of the mini-series at Banner Island Ballpark on Thursday, September 10th and Friday, September 11th, if necessary.
The winner of the mini-series will advance to the Division Finals which will begin Saturday, September 12th and will be hosted by the First-Half Northern Division Champions, the Visalia Rawhide. If the Ports advance, they will play on Monday, September 14th and Tuesday, September 15th, if necessary, at Banner Island Ballpark.
