The Sea Dogs continue their three-game series with the Flying Squirrels on Saturday night from The Diamond in Richmond, Virginia...Portland is 2-3 during the trip, which ends tomorrow night.

ANOTHER NIGHT AT THE DIAMOND: The Sea Dogs and Flying Squirrels play the second of their three-game series tonight in Richmond...If the Flying Squirrels win tonight's game, they l clinch the season series against the Sea Dogs for a second consecutive season...Portland has lost three straight against Richmond...The 'Dogs are currently 4-5 on their 17-game stretch against teams from the Western Division.

SEA DOGS CRY MADAY: The Flying Squirrels blanked the Sea Dogs 5-0 last night...Daryl Maday picked up his third win of the year, allowing just five baserunners on three hits, a walk and an error over six and two-thirds innings, his longest outing of the year...Edwin Quirarte was perfect over the final two and one-third innings to complete the shutout...Portland had not been shutout since May 31st in New Britain, when the 'Cats took game one of a twinbill 2-0...The Sea Dogs were shutout in a nine-inning contest on May 13 at New Britain.
