PlanetUSA AHL All-Stars vs. Canadian AHL All-Stars 7:00 p.m.
Tonight the 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic takes place at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto at 7:00 p.m. ET on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada and a series of regional networks in the United States. The game is also available at no charge via B2 Networks' video webcast. Saturday, February 3rd vs. Bridgeport Sound Tigers 7:05 p.m.
Saturday will be the first of two U.S. Cellular Player Card giveaway nights! The first 5,000 fans will receive the first set of 12 Portland Pirates player collector cards sponsored by U.S. Cellular. In celebration of Hockey Night in Portland, bring your Pirates ticket into Gritty McDuff's Brew Pub between 4 and 6:30 p.m. and Gritty's will take 10% off your tab.
Saturday's game will be televised live on Time Warner Cable in Cumberland and York counties on Time Warner Cable Channel 22 and in former Adelphia service areas wherever TW9 is available.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
2007 Fix Cup Tournament
Today is Championship Monday for "Fix Cup" Hockey Tournament at the Cumberland County Civic Center as Cape Elizabeth takes on Falmouth in the championship game at 8:00 p.m. In addition to the championship game, Scarborough and Cheverus will meet in the consolation game at 6:00 p.m. Adult tickets are $7, student tickets are $4 and all proceeds will benefit the Frank Fixaris Memorial Endowment at Saint Joseph's College of Maine.

SUBWAY "Pirate for a Day" Contest
The Pirates are now accepting entries for the "Pirate for a Day" Contest. Fans have the chance to record a :15 video entry as to why they deserve to be a Pirate for a day. The person with the best entry will win a hockey salary for a day, accommodations at Holiday Inn By the Bay the night before the game, dinner the night before the game, a pre-game meal at SUBWAY® restaurants, a customized authentic Pirates jersey, an autographed hockey stick, seat next to the back-up goalie during the game, be a guest radio commentator with the "Voice of the Pirates" Greg Glynn, player meet-and-greet, locker room tour and much, much more. "Day of Hockey" Set for February 25th
"A Day of Hockey" will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at the Cumberland County Civic Center. The event, made possible by the Portland Pirates Foundation is being held to raise awareness and funds for The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center. It will include the Portland Pirates game against the Lowell Devils, as well as many other hockey events including: Salty Pete's "Skate for the Kids" fundraiser, 3rd Annual Clash of the Classes High School Boys Hockey game (Cape Elizabeth vs. Cheverus), Girls High School Hockey game, Broomball (Local media vs. Barbara Bush Children's Hospital staff), Youth Hockey events and much, much more.

Eye on the Pirates Every Thursday during the 6 o'clock news on WCSH 6, sports anchor Lee Goldberg focuses on the Pirates top stories and previews the Pirates upcoming games.
Pirates Players on WJBQ and WBLM
On Thursday at 8:10 a.m. Pirates players will be on WJBQ 97.9FM with Meredith, Jeff and Lori. At 8:30 a.m. Later in the morning the players will be in studio with Herb and Celeste on WBLM 102.9FM to talk about the Pirates games this weekend!
The Ice Bar is Open!
Located outside the Portland Harbor Hotel is the 7,000 pounds of ice that make up this year's ice bar. The outdoor courtyard and ice bar will be open through January 31st serving specialty martinis, wines, and local beers.
