The Pirates bring a two game winning streak and a 17-20-3-4 record entering this week's games.
Friday, January 28th @ Manchester 7:35 p.m.
Trent Whitfield, Boyd Gordon and Jakub Klepis all share the team lead in goals with 10.
NEXT HOME GAME: Saturday, January 29th vs. Providence 7:05 p.m.- It will be New England Patriots Cheerleaders Night. The Super Bowl bound cheerleaders will perform during the game, and sign autographs. It will also be Dunkin' Donuts Night. The first 2,500 fans will receive a Dunkin' Donuts travel mug.
Former Bruin, Shaone Morrisonn has four points (1 goal, 3 assists) against Providence this season.
Sunday, January 30th @ Worcester 4:05 p.m.
Trent Whitfield has five points (2 goals, 3 assists) versus the IceCats this season.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
The 8th Annual "Evening with the Pirates" presented by the Portland Pirates Foundation and Key Bank and will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Stadium Restaurant and Sports Bar. This year's event will support the Pirates new exhibit at the Children's Museum of Maine opening next spring.
Friday, February 4th vs. Lowell 7:05 p.m.- The first 1,500 fans attending the game will receive a water bottle courtesy of State Farm Insurance. Saturday, February 5th vs. Manchester 7:05 p.m.- This is the second of two U.S. Cellular Nights. The first 5,000 fans will receive the second and final set of 12 Portland Pirates player collector cards sponsored by U.S. Cellular. The first 4,000 fans in the building will also receive a pair of thunder sticks courtesy of U.S. Cellular.
Stay the weekend and catch both games! The Portland Harbor Hotel is offering a tremendous package to Pirates fans. On the weekend of February 4th and 5th, you can get a one night stay, four tickets to a Pirates game, one autographed puck and a free game program! IN THE COMMUNITY
Last Wednesday, Pirates players Steve Eminger, Brian Sutherby and Boyd Gordon were "Celebrity Scoopers" at the Friendly's location in Westbrook, ME, to raise funds for Easter Seals. This Saturday, catch up with the Pirates at the Friendly's location at the Maine Mall from 1:00-2:00 p.m. to help raise funds for the "Cones for Kids" campaign to benefit Easter Seals.
On Saturday night, Portland Professional Hockey Booster Club's 50/50 raffle raised $350 for the Ricky Craven Foundation, which was matched by the Portland Pirates Foundation. The Rickey Craven Foundation benefits five other foundations through "Ricky Craven Snowmobile Rides", the Make a Wish Foundation, Children's Miracle Network, The Travis Roy Foundation, Give Kids The World Foundation and The Marrow Foundation.
Tomorrow, catch the Pirates Head Coach Tim Army on WJAB at 8:00 a.m. on the "The Morning Jab" on WJAB 95.5FM and 1440AM.
Wednesday, January 26th, Pirates defenseman Nolan Yonkman will join Dave and Michelle on 99.9FM "The Wolf" morning show at 7:30 a.m.
Also on Wednesday, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Jason Ulmer and Darcy Verot will present the Pirates fourth "Goals for Success" program of the year at the Riverton School in Portland, ME sponsored by Maine Healthy Partnerships and Pepsi.

Louis Robitaille will be on WBLM 102.9FM this Friday at 8:00 a.m. with the Captain and Mark.

Graham Mink had two goals and an assist on the game winning goal by Owen Fussey.
Saturday, January 22nd vs. Worcester (3-1 W)
Jakub Klepis scored his tenth goal of the season and extended his point scoring streak to five games.
Sunday, January 23rd vs. Providence (Postponed)
The game was postponed due to the weather. A make up date is expected to be announced later this week.
