THIS WEEK

• The Pirates post an 11-14-3-4 record and are in sixth place heading into this week's games.

• Tuesday, December 28th @ Bridgeport 7:05 p.m. Pirates are 1-1-0-0 against Bridgeport this season. Boyd Gordon leads the Pirates with three points (2 goals, 1 assist) against the Sound Tigers.

• Wednesday, December 29th @ Wilkes-Barre Scranton 7:05 p.m. This will be the first of the two meetings between the two teams.

• Friday, December 31st vs. PROVIDENCE at 5:35 p.m. at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Trent Whitfield leads the Pirates with 22 points (8 goals, 14 assists).

• Saturday, January 1st vs. LOWELL at 7:05 p.m.

• Friday, 12/31 vs. Providence 5:35 p.m.- Kids New Years noisemakers and U.S Cellular thunder sticks giveaway. Stay after the game for the biggest, most spectacular indoor fireworks in the northeast presented by Atlas PyroVision Productions, sponsored by the Cumberland County Civic Center. Youth tickets will be just $5!

• Saturday, 1/8 vs. Providence 7:05 p.m. - Salute the New England Patriots! Meet the New England Patriots cheerleaders, who will perform during the 1st intermission, and sign autographs during the second intermission.

• Support STRIVE U and the Pirates by ordering your tickets for the Pirates January 16th game vs. Manchester with Noel Thompson at 828-4665 ext. 304. Thompson is a student from STRIVE U and works as an Account Executive with the Pirates. The program is part of STRIVE U which provides opportunities for young adults with developmental disabilities to make an impact in the community by performing jobs with local! employers to gain real world skills.

IN THE COMMUNITY

• On Friday, December 31st Portland Pirates players will be at Maverick's in the Portland Public Market from 11:15 a.m- 1:15 p.m.

• Louis Robitaille will be on WBLM 102.9FM this Friday at 8:00 a.m. with the Captain and Mark.

• Catch the Pirates' Head Coach Tim Army on WJAB this Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. on the "The Morning Jab" on WJAB 95.5FM and 1440AM.

• Hear Tim Army's wife, Sue Army on WMGX 93.1FM and WPOR 101.9FM this Friday morning. Sue Army's reports can be heard at 7:52 a.m. and 5:25 p.m every Friday the Pirates play at home on Saturday.

• Listen every weekday morning at 7:20 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. for the "Voice of the Pirates" Greg Glynn with your Portland Pirates daily report on WJAB 95.5FM and 1440AM.
