Binghamton, NY - Down 4-2 in the ninth, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (21-31, 49-72) scored a run but fell to the Somerset Patriots 4-3 on Thursday night at Mirabito Stadium, snapping the Ponies season long five-game win streak.
Wyatt Young reached in the ninth on a walk and scored from second after a stolen base on Carlos Cortes's RBI single, cutting the Somerset lead to 4-3. Ronny Mauricio worked the count full and Carson Coleman earned the save by striking out Mauricio out to end the game.

New York Mets pitcher Tylor Megill highlighted the Ponies bullpen with a perfect sixth striking out the side. Hunter Parsons worked out of a bases loaded jam in the seventh then the duo of Joe Zanghi and Manny Alvarez kept Somerset in check.
