
Pond Called up to Providence

DULUTH, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators announced Thursday that forward Tanner Pond has signed a PTO with the AHL's Providence Bruins.
Pond, 24, heads up to the AHL for the second time this season. The Walled Lake, MI native appeared in two games for Providence earlier this year. In 61 games for the Gladiators during his rookie campaign, the 6-foot, 194-pound center has collected 37 points (14-23-37) which is tied for third on the team while his 163 penalty minutes and eight fighting majors rank second.
Pond is expected to play for the P-Bruins this weekend and then return to Atlanta prior the start of the 2018 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
